I thought it was just a phase, something teen age boys go through. What I now realize was that my son was spiraling out of control, and I couldn't stop it. I knew something had to be done, but what? Our decision to intervene and take massive action was both the hardest thing we have ever done and the most satisfying. We know that we have given our son a second chance in life. The other aspect of this program is that parental involvement is essential. What I've learned about myself, my beliefs, my values, and my goals have been invaluable. I now have a purpose and a goal of creating a whole and happy family. I know that this will be my greatest achievement in my life thus far, but I also feel like I'm just getting warmed up...
